Phil Limauge, Owner

Phil is a former Marine, a movement nerd, and a lover of all things CrossFit. He was introduced to CrossFit in 2008 and has now been coaching full-time for over 5 years. Phil has completed the CrossFit Level 2 Trainer course, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer course, Pendlay Olympic Lifting Level 1 & 2 course, and Carl Paoli’s Freestyle Connection gymnastics course.

Phil believes that technique and flexibility are two of the most overlooked aspects of fitness. His passion for the basic principles of movement guides the way he teaches CrossFit. And he holds his athletes to the highest standard every day

Abby Lackey, Owner

Abby is a 4th grade teacher by day and CrossFit coach by night. Passionate would be the best word to describe Abby. She has a Masters degree in Elementary Education and her CrossFit Level 1 certificate and she puts both to use every day; coaching and teaching full-time.

Abby has been coaching in the fitness industry for 3 years. She uses her experience in teaching and her love for fitness to help people experience the same happiness and confidence that CrossFit has brought into her life.

Chris Yandle, Coach

Yandle, as he is affectionately known, is a proud Charlottean. He’s spent his whole life in the Queen City, growing up just minutes from the gym. And he’s been active from the very beginning. Since the age of four, Yandle has been playing a sport. When he became too old to play in the local leagues he began searching for a new sport.
Today Yandle uses CrossFit to help people achieve their fitness goals. From general health to sport-specialization, CrossFit has given Yandle a chance to spread what he’s learned to other people.
